At the #FAOTransforms 2024 Fair, within the "Better Production" block, an initiative promoting sustainable development in the Venezuelan Amazon is presented. Through the creation of livelihoods in the indigenous Jivi, Uotoja, and Kurripako communities, FAO implements innovative strategies to strengthen family economies in sectors such as crafts, agriculture, and beekeeping. With the establishment of a Creative Station and training in advertising and marketing, local producers can now promote and market their products using social media and graphic tools, fostering new forms of exchange and income generation. This experience demonstrates how realities can be transformed and local sustainable economies can be promoted.
