Siddhartha Bora’s session focused on a simple but uncomfortable question: Who is your research really for, and can they actually use it?

He highlighted a common gap: research often becomes too technical and hard to use. His key question was, can you explain your research so that even a high school student understands it?

After all, research creates real impact only when people can understand and use it, especially last-mile audiences! The solution, according to Siddhartha, lies in adding another layer of accessible content for non-experts in simple language using stories, visuals, and local dialects, while preserving technical rigor of the core work.

He also stressed starting with the audience—understanding their needs and realities before deciding how to communicate.
