The crew has a hard time adjusting to Captain Flirt’s new command. Animated summer of 2004.
Film History (Written May 25th, 2018):
I tried to carry over the budget cuts idea to this episode. The background on the planet looks like a badly laid cloth and the fight at the end is supposed to be obvious Shatner is replaced by a stunt double.
The whole Shatner saga was meant to evolve to a breaking point with the crew, creating a situation where Pakaday is forced back into the spotlight.
But, this ended up being the final episode.
I never thought this series was good back in the day (hence the short lifespan) but after watching it again, I can see why some people like it. And I am disappointed I never gave Pakaday a chance to get the crew home.
Oh well, we can dream.
