➡️ How does it work?
🅰️ The kit contains an ExSeed device, collection cups and glass slides. After producing a sample into the cup, assess the volume using the scale. Turn the lid to mix the sample, use it’s in-built pipette to move some of the sample to the slide, and insert the slide into the device. The ExSeed app on your phone will at this stage open your camera, which you lower onto the lens of the ExSeed device - with any luck you should see moving sp3rm cells up close!
Our smart algorithm assesses a short video of the sample, calculates the concentration (how many sp3rm cells there are) and the motility (how many are moving in a progressive, forward direction) and in minutes shows you your Total Motile Sp3rm Count, a leading indicator of male fertility.
➡️ OK, but surely my result can’t be accurate?
🅰️ The home test is extremely accurately - we compared it with an in-clinic test and it’s over 95% as accurate for Total Motile Sp3rm Count (but a fraction of the price!)
