windows live disk,Strelec live disk,Windows 7 on a modern day Computer Part 3
This is part 3 of my continuing series in moving Windows 7 hard disk to a modern day computer. Today, we are talking about Strelec another windows live disk that enables you to work on the effected disk. The great thing aboiut this disk and Hirens another live disk is that you can manipulate the registry, pull down files, even make a backup copy of the disk to attempt to fix what the issue is with the windows installation without fear of making it worse. I used this utility to make a backup and I worked with the backup. Now that I know it works I can record on how I got this procedure to work. You can unlock accounts, scan and fix your hard disk, it even has internet so you can continue to operate untill you can fix your effected disk. The video also talks about sfsync04.sys StarForce issue. The program did not work in here but, once I got windows to boot, I pressed F8 and I presseed F8 again to bypass digital signature mode. The problem is that this file got corrupted. You do need to download this and when you are able to boot into windows run this program. Fortunetly once I got my windows to move to the new machine my problem went away. I also could have ran this fix on the old computer before moving it.
