Ingredients:-
Oil
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
2-3 Green Chillies
1 Chopped Onion
Salt to taste
2 tsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste
4 Chopped Tomatoes
1 Red Chilli Powder
Turmeric Powder
Water as required
Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves
2 Chopped Potatoes
1 Large Bowl Green Peas
1 tsp. Coriander Powder
1 tsp. Garam Masala
Method:-
1. Take oil in a saucepan and add cumin seeds, green chillies, onion and salt to it.
2. Cook the onions till they turn brown and add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder to it. Mix it well and then add water.
3. Let these ingredients cook till the mixture is pulpy and turn off the flame & keep aside till it attains room temperature.
4. Once cooled down add the pulp to a mixer and grind it well.
5. Add the paste to a pressure cooker with coriander leaves, potatoes and green peas. Add water as required and bring the gravy to a boil.
6. Once boiled cover the pressure cooker with the lid and let it cook for 2 whistles.
7. Once the lid comes off add coriander powder, garam masala and coriander leaves on the top.
Delicious Aloo Matar Gravy is ready to be served!
