In this video, I'd like you to listen to a sentence and tell me which word is wrong.
This is a very common mistakes all of my students make. Then we fix it, and they improve quickly.
In this situation, two people are making plans to get together.
Here it is:
Let’s meet on the usual time.
Again,
Let’s meet on the usual time.
Which word is wrong?
If you said “on,” good job! Now, what is the correct word?
Of course, it should be, “at!”
Let’s meet at the usual time.
Again,
Let’s meet at the usual time.
Whether it’s a time like 8am, 10pm, or something like “the usual time,” use the preposition “at.”
