It's season opener of the 2024/25 indoor 200g micros series. Too bad the day was cut short so we didn't get to do Mains, but it's good to have this location one last time.
Finally got to try out the new @rcbattery1042 LiperiAir 3S 550 (https://bit.ly/rcbfpvpacks) packs. They are lighter/shorter yet more powerful than the Liperior Pro 550s, perfect fit for the Tiny Trainer. The 3S pack did not sag below 10V even in the cold single-digit (Celsius) temperature and on this power-demanding track, which is the mini version of next week's 5"-spec track (with bigger gates and venue of course). There's a lot of full-speed tight switchback turns and a couple spirals. all are power-hungry elements. I had to dial back throttle cap from 90% to 85% or else I was blowing every corner and draining the battery down.
