Today, we’re going to talk about a youtuber who started out like many others, an innocent budding young man who wanted to share with the world and is now one of the most controversial youtubers to ever exist, FouseyTube. If you google FouseyTube you will be bombarded with article after article about him being arrested, him doxxing himself and calling the police as well as him running away from his publicist and marketing team while yelling at them to protect him and his image. Now, we’re going to try our best to go through Fousey’s history on youtube and how we ended up where we are now. Yousef Erakast better known as Fousey, became famous on youtube in 2014 with his pranks, dares and skits. Originally, he wanted to be an actor and so he moved to LA right after he graduated college in 2013 and started a youtube prank channel. At this time this was one of the most popular youtube genres as shows like ‘Just for laughs’ were popular on television, where random people would be pranked in public. The genre of pranks is still alive and well on youtube, although it has evolved to a lot darker pranks than they were back then.
