Colleen Ballinger is BACK with a new hilarious apology
I'm sure you've heard. Colleen Ballinger is back. And we're here to talk about it. In case you've been living under a rock, here's the quickest explanation of what's been happening with Colleen Ballinger. Everything began when YouTuber Adam McIntyre accused Colleen Ballinger of forming an inappropriate relationship with him when he was between the ages of 13 and 16. In a 2020 YouTube video, Adam McIntyre said he wrote many of Ballinger's tweets for her but was never paid. Three years later, this summer, other fans came forward with their experiences, including screenshots of messages between Ballinger and teenage fans in her group chat called "Colleeny's Weenies." One message included a question from Ballinger to the group about their "favorite position". Another had Ballinger sending NSFW photos of fellow content creator Trisha Paytas to the young fans. Paytas, when she found out, labeled the interaction "inhumane" and "disgusting." In response to all this, Colleen Ballinger came out with a video 4 months ago titled "hi" where she debuted her hit single "toxic gossip train". This song was technically supposed to be her "apology" but really all she did was minimize the situation and assign blame to others. And then she disappeared for a few months and tbh, everything did sort of die down a little bit, as things usually do. Adam himself who was adamently posting about colleen for a few weeks sort of let go a bit and it seemed like everyone was moving on.
So I guess colleen thought it'd be a good time for her to come back to the internet hoping everyone FORGOT all the messed up things she did?? Yesterday she came out with a video on her vlog channel called "fall vlog". In this video, she says her ukele video was really embarrasing but she was just being accused of some really awful things so she was just mad and let her ego take over. Colleen Ballinger admits that there have certainly been moments in her career where she's acted imaturely and made innaproriate jokes with her comedy or had not put thought into some of her fan interactions. She feels terrible about that and feels sorry.
