Welcome back to a new Tenno Journal. this one is probably one of my favorite ones. cause it's about my most liked warframe. Nidus. today we're going to talk about Some Lore/History and some Theory. let's get straight to this video
This is Nidus, the adaptive, the scourge. Nidus is a deadly plague for which there is no cure. You must control the strange disease.--
Nidus is an Infested Warframe. you get his Blueprint in the quest The Glast Gambit. his Components are found on Oestrus, Eris. Infested Salvage, Rotation.
Now let's talk about The quest we get Nidus Blueprint. in this quest they Talk about a different strain of Infestation is different from the one we all know and love. and therefore is not allied to it, but competing against it. Nidus's strain is also said to be somewhat weaker, especially given that it doesn't seem to overtake the minds of the Mycona people who live in such close proximity to it.
Nidus's Blueprint is said to be an Old-war relic, so it is at least old enough to have been invented by the Orokin.
Nidus also seems to be tied with the Helminth virus aboard the ship
nidus was involved in vaccinating the Mycona,
the word "Helminth" is a type of Worm that is often used in medicine, particularly in the roles of the Immune System.
Now let us get out of The lore and history. now let's talk about 1 theory I liked.
The one theory is they were trying test nidus to control the infested to create an army, that why you are able to go into the room of the infested and it calls you master while you're in warframe nidus. but they think it failed because the infested is controlled by queen hive like bees, they need one queen, so nidus act like kingly-ish like a queen.
I know this was a short video but there wasn't much a story on him.
