[H2 Pioneers] Hydrogen in the Cement Industry
As part of the H2 Pioneers series, we kicked things off on Thursday, June 13, 2024, with a presentation entitled "Thoughts on the Use of Hydrogen in the Cement Industry" by Prof. Dr. Georg Locher from SCHWENK Zement GmbH & Co. KG Ulm.
Throughout the summer of 2024, the online series "H2 Pioneers" and Hydrogen Week invite you to learn more about hydrogen in and around Ulm. The "H2 Pioneers" online series offers four sessions, held every Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m., where you can meet and exchange ideas with regional hydrogen stakeholders.
The nationwide Hydrogen Week takes place from June 15 to 23. At the University of Ulm, you can attend an engaging lecture on "Photoreactors for Sustainable Processes" on Monday evenings.
On Tuesday afternoons, you are warmly invited to learn more about the Green Hydrogen Working Group, the volunteer hydrogen guides, and their activities.
. ... On Monday and Friday, you have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of the ZSW fuel cell factory.
Hydrogen Week at Ulm University concludes with the Long Night of Science on Friday, June 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Volunteer hydrogen guides will also be present and happy to discuss your questions and thoughts on hydrogen.
