Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I had a lot of fun at the fair on this particular day and I'm so glad that I brought the FUJI XF10 with me. You all know I love this little camera. I recently changed my approach to shooting jpgs and I don't really talk about it in this video a whole lot except for the beginning but if you'd like me to make a video on how I'm currently using the basic Astia film simulation on all of my fuji cameras right now, let me know in the comments and I'll make a video on those workflows. For this video, I just used the standard film simulation with shadows -1 and I set the white balance to 6300 instead of leaving it in auto white balance. I then added a tiny bit of contrast using my Iphone and the mobile VSCO app. I literally moved the contrast slider to 0.7
It was super simple. Since then I've developed 3 different Astia workflows which makes it so much easier for me to shoot with a consistent look.
As far as today's video, I really enjoyed making it because it's been a while since I've done a journals episode and so far this is one of my favorite series on this channel.
Oh and even though I'm going to make a thank you video within the next week I just wanted to say thank you to the 1,010 people who have subscribed to the channel!!!!!! According to my analytics on this channel, 86.3% of the people that watch my videos are not subscribed and that's totally ok with me because the people that are subscribed are amazing! I feel like we're creating a great community of people who are encouraging and just great to interact with.
Wether you are subscribed or not, I wish you all the very best and I thank you for your continued support.
