The BAE Systems Hawk is a light jet fighter trainer produced by BAE Hawk since 1974.
BAE Hawk is a company from the United Kingdom. The Hawk is an interim trainer for 4th generation jet fighters (F-16, F-15, etc) using the modern APG-66 radar (Mk 200 variant only) and the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile. Hawk Mk 109 / 209 is the code for the Hawker-Siddeley Hawk exported to Indonesia which began equipping the TNI-AU since 1997 (in the 1980s, the TNI-AU had also purchased a number of Hawk Mk 53).The Hawk Mk 209 is a single seater variant of the Hawk family. The jet is specialized for air superiority and ground attack missions.Malaysia also has a number of Hawk Mk 108/208 which are the first Hawk variants that can perform in-flight refuelling.
