How to Build Your Own Private Label brand on Amazon FBA - SlamazonBros. Andy Slamans gives us 10 steps that you will need to take in order to successfully build your own brand on Amazon.
Step 1: Identify the product you want to produce and sell. I only choose products that are already selling at good ranks on Amazon. Amazon gives us the best sellers rank so that makes it easy. Make sure the product is not saturated with too much compettion already.
Step 2: Get a custom’s agent, customs bond and a freight forwarder
Step 3: Decide how you are going to make your product better or how you will bundle it to make it better than your compettion.
Step 4: Go to Alibaba and find a manufacture: There is more to discuss here about this step but for sake of time just know I have found all of my suppliers thru alibaba.
Step 5: order your samples to check quality of manufacture.
Step 6: Design your logo and figure out with your manufacture how you will place your logo on your product. All of the manufactures I work with in China have in house design teams. I have got a number of my logo’s done on fiverr.
Step 7: Get another sample shipped with your logo on it.
Step 8: Send final payment and contact your freight forwarder who will then contact your manufacturer and get your items shipped.
Step 9: Take great photos and create a great listing. I recommend using a professional photographer. I use FBAPHOTOS.com
Step 10: Launch your product using Amazon’s promo code giveaway system to get your product found in search and create an Amazon PPC campaign.
