About This Video :
An update has been issued by the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). As per this update document list of Giant Declaration has been changed to correct the errors in UN profile of EPFO members. According to the revised notification made on 11 March 2024, the applicant can now submit Aadhaar card, PAN card, matric certificate, matric mark sheet, driving license with the name of the member's father/mother while applying.
Also UAN profile can be updated by updating Date of Birth, Mother/Father's Name, Aadhaar Number, Marital Status, Member Name and Gender.
For marital status, marriage certificate, Aadhaar card, passport, divorce certificate etc. can be submitted.
Similarly, for correcting errors in name, Aadhaar, Passport, Birth Certificate, Driving License, Service Identity Card issued by Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Government are required.
Similarly, Aadhaar, passport, PAN card, residence certificate, certificate issued by the birth matric certificate, matric mark sheet, medical certificate with date of birth etc. are required to correct the error in the date of birth. If you don't give these certificates or if you give false certificates, there is a risk that the money in EPF will be stopped.
