The state government has directed to ensure the payment of monthly allowance in the Madhubabu pension scheme by the 20th of month. The BJP governmentof the state promised to pay a minimum monthly allowance of Rs.3,000. For this an important EFC (Expenditure Finance Committee) meeting was held to continue the Madhubabu Pension Scheme under the chairmanship of the State Finance Secretary on the 12th.
According to the information, Deepak Rautrai Additional Secretary of the State Department of Social Security and Disability Empowerment has written a letter to all the District Magistrates informing them about the delay in the monthly (allowance) payment of Madhubabu Pension Yojana. This monthly allowance is paid on the 15th Jan Seva Day.
But this allowance distribution has now come under the notice of the government, which continues till the last week of the month.Therefore the district administration has been asked to ensure the payment of allowances to the beneficiaries by the 20th of the month by personal intervention. Mainly, monthly allowance is provided to old age, widows, disabled and orphans in Madhubabu pension scheme.
