Olight Arkfeld Pro Not Charging - 3 Reasons (Red Light or Flashing)
My Olight arkfeld pro is a good flashlight for multiple purposes.
Sometimes, you might notice it is not charging although there are red light when plugged in the charger.
Here are the 3 reasons why olight arkfeld might not charge.
1) It is locked out
There is locked out mode on the olight arkfeld which designed to prevent the flashlight to turned on accidentally. Long press the main middle button to deactivate the lock out mode.
2) Battery is Bad
I removed the battery cover of my olight arkfeld and noticed that it is operated by a 3.7V rechargeable battery. Use a multimeter to check the output voltage of the battery. If it is far below the 3.7V that means the battery might not healthy anymore and you might consider to replace this battery.
3) Charge using power bank
Some power banks might not be ideal to charge the olight arkfeld. As shown in my video, when I first charge the olight arkfeld using power bank, it would flashing red and green. I have to remove the charging cable and retry again before it could start charging normally.
