Tineco Vacuum Dust Sensor Malfunction: How To Solve
My tineco a12 cordless vacuum has a digital display on it to inform me about the current vacuum status.
One day I noticed that there is "o" symbol on my tineco vacuum display.
It was the tineco "Dust Sensor Malfunction" symbol to indicate that something is not right with the dust sensor.
However, where is dust sensor and how to clean it?
I tried to figure out the location of the dust sensor, and noticed that it should be located inside the dustbin.
Inside the dustbin also equipped with a "Air flow valve" to control the airflow I believe.
There are lots of wiring inside the dustbin, and I think the dust sensor would detect airflow and inform the user if there is too much dust already.
To clean the dust sensor, you might need to dismantle the entire dustbin component to locate the dust sensor, clean it or replace it with a new dust sensor.
However, before that, I would suggest you to simply clean the dustbin filter with water and dry it. Reinstall it back to see if this can solve the dust sensor malfunction issue. Sometimes there is nothing wrong with the dust sensor, just you would need to clean the filter to make the airflow more smooth.
Besides, make sure you have the dustbin installed properly. If you remove the dustbin and press the vacuum trigger, it would show the "dust sensor malfunction" symbol too. Just install the dustbin back properly should solve this issue.
