She Listened to Her Heart – and Found Love
“The more I overcame my own fear ... the more I overcame the baggage and the trauma ... the more I could really let my heart lead and listen to that one voice that kept saying: go this way.”
After having a mystical experience during a Week Long Advanced Retreat a few years ago, Charu became very clear in her intentions for creating love in her life. But, despite that clarity, the conscious relationship she sought eluded her. At times, her mind seemed to lean toward a possible connection, but her heart spoke louder. And her heart told her to hold out for the right person.
Charu had kept her heart open and curious during months of dating. She’d said to the universe, “Surprise me.” And still, she found herself wondering if she would ever meet her true partner. Eventually, tired of all the effort, she took a step back. She decided to stop trying.
In that moment of surrender, Charu got an unexpected message from a man asking to meet. Both of them seemed to be following a higher calling. And when they met, they both knew. They’d listened to their hearts ... they’d stayed open ... and, when they’d least expected it, they found each other.
