Hey guys!
I did this with recycled code from other projects. The video is actually played in reverse of how it was rendered. I used an asset called RenderMonster to pull frame by frame stills from unity. I then used ImageJ to convert the png stills to AVI format which could then be used in my video editor.
The mesh was made from a cad trace of my logo and a bit of detail added in autocad. The fractured meshes were created pre-runtime with a script from another project of mine, they were then further modified with particle effects. I initiated the fracture at runtime with a physics overlay based explosion.
The camera rig was actually controlled by me with the camera being locked into focus on origin point. The camera uses rigidbody physics and AddForce to move in order to allow smooth movements at extremely low framerates.
If you'd like to know anything in more detail, I'm happy to share!
