Hey everyone! I hope your holiday season is going well! In today's video I start a new series called Archives. The first shoot from my personal archives that I'll be sharing is a black and white Fuji JPEG indoor session that I recently did with my friend Marie. I used a homemade Ring light to light most of the shoot (except for the last segment which we ended up using window light for. I also give you some basic updates as to the direction of the channel and I explain what the Archives series is going to be and why I'm using it on my channel.
As far as cameras, this was one of those rare shoots where I shot with more than one camera. I started with the Fuji X-E3, X-A3, XF10 and with the Original X100. I ended up sticking with the original X100. I really enjoyed this shoot and it was nice doing something that isn't instagram trendy :) something for me and for Marie.
I also share some of my challenges as a photographer so that you can follow me on my journey to overcoming those challenges in the hope that it inspires someone out there to face their challenges as well.
Take care and thank you for your continued support!
Marco
