Polaroid decided to put on sale a collection edition of its OneStep 2 instant camera, inspired by the series Stranger Things, whose third season premieres on July 4 on the streaming platform. The Polaroid Originals OneStep 2 model: Stranger Things Edition includes winks to the so-called Upside Down World of the series, because the device shows inverted labels and words printed on its external surface.
Polaroid even produced a commercial for the camera that simulates the aesthetics of the advertising of the 80s of the last century, because the third season of Stranger Things is set in 1985. Being a series that takes advantage of the nostalgia of the audience in the 80s of the last century, Polaroid instant cameras have appeared in the two previous seasons of Stranger Things.
