Can Anyone Actually Make Delicious Dragon's Beard Candy?
My first dragon's beard candy attempt turned into a stringy tangled mess!
✨Recipe:
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp Vinegar
Food Coloring of Choice
Corn Starch
Directions:
1. Pour sugar, water, corn syrup, vinegar, and food coloring into pot, give 1 quick stir to blend the food coloring, and let heat to 260°F.
2. Once it reaches temperature, pour into a silicone donut mold and let cool.
3. After cooling, remove from mold, coat in corn starch, and begin stretching slightly, twisting back into a circle, and repeating this process until the candy turns into small strings. If candy starts to blend together, add more corn starch (but not too much).
4. Enjoy!
