Sahara Journey with the Portal on Wheels: Native Berber Cheche & Oasis
After a night walk we arrived in the middle of the desert, on an open plain. There we set up our tarp, and the next morning Thianam’s toe thankfully seemed fine again 🙌.
Suddenly we were invited into a special cultural experience: wearing a cheche like the Berbers 🇲🇦✨. As we continued our route and passed a police checkpoint, they didn’t stop us for control, but instead offered us cake and water 💖.
We keep walking towards Merzouga, but the sun is already setting… 🌅
