After a long day walking towards Merzouga, exhausted at sunset, we faced the choice: keep going or finally find rest, somehow.... Just at that moment, we were invited by local Berbers to join them at their house in the dunes. Going into the jeep with the two Portal on Wheels..🏜💚
What an invitation, we tasted our very first real tagine, slept under our tarp watching the many stars and for the first time experienced life in a clay house, right in the middle of nowhere at Erg Chebbi. 🏜️✨
An unexpected encounter that brought us closer to the culture and its hospitality. What a precious gift 🙏🌠
