ESCAPE FROM CALIFORNIA!
Escape from California? I lived in Los Angeles from 2007 to 2020, and for most of that time I had a compact with LA and California both. They would overcharge me to live there, and I in return would ruthlessly exploit everything they had to offer -- weather, geography, culture, food, entertainment opportunities, all of it. One day I realized they'd broken the compact. What California gave me was no longer worth the price I had to pay to stay, and escape became my only option. Let's get into this.
