Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees (Instrumental Cover) [LMMS Alternative Rock, Metal-GTX]
This video mainly demonstrates 80's guitar tone and strumming using only free VSTs and LMMS (no physical instruments used, all done within a computer). Hope this inspires more on-budget musicians to use LMMS to produce rock/metal music.

Piano: General Soundfont (if you don't have a good vocalist in your band, piano is a good substitute, there's nothing wrong with leaving the audience to interpret the meaning of the piano track), Valhalla Super Massive (Lustrous Dotted-Eighth), Equalizer
Clean Guitar: Standard Guitar KSOP (by Unreal Instruments), TSE808, Le456 (Clean, Bright, with some drive), LeCab2 (panned 40% left & right), Valhalla Super Massive, Equalizer
Rhythm Guitar (Distortion Guitar): Metal-GTX (by Unreal Instruments), TSE808, LeCto, LeCab2 (panned 60% left & right), Equalizer
Drum: Custom made using Polyphone sf2 editor
Strings: General Soundfont, stereo widener would have been nice to have but I skipped it
Export: 48kHz, 16-bit, Sinc Best
