Will France send NATO troops to Ukraine?
French President Emmanual Macron made a statement yesterday suggesting the possibility of "deployment" of NATO forces in Ukraine. Could this mean war with Russia if French forces will be sent to Ukraine? Clarifying his earlier statements following quick rebuttals of any suggestions of direct intervention by the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Poland among others, Macron elucidated his meaning noting that "deployment" might involve de-mining personnel, cyber-security systems, and production of munitions and arms in country.
