*Disclaimer, in the video, I mention that monero was going to proof of stake, which is not the case, I had gotten my information from an unreliable source. They have modified the proof of work algorithm to be ASIC resistant, not implemented an entire new algorithm.
Finally, after a few months of trouble, Monero and Electroneum are finally gaining speed again due to a few key improvements in their functionality.
