Today, we take a look at a few various components I got in for my conversion project.
First, and foremost, the EP 1000 controller, which should allow me up to almost 200kw of power. While it's got a bit of a bad rep on some forums, this is a new and improved 3rd gen model, with a lifetime warranty.
Second, the battery charger is in. It'll allow me to charge 6 12v Lead Acid batteries, with the ability to double that setup if needed, to get 144v.
Third, the transmission has been put back in place so that I can get better measurements. I might swap it out for the ZF Coupe transmission for the E46 if this one ends up not working out.
