Using the internet isn't very useful if you can't navigate the sea of websites, memes, and whatever is going on in Reddit. So to solve this we created Search engines, incredible code that scrapes and organizes the internet. But as search engines got better and better one company pulled away from the Pack. As Google has continued to grow people have become suspicious of their less than desirable business practices, to the point that the US Department of Justice is suing them for Monopolistic Anti-Trust violations. But we don't need to wait for a law to go through to take action. So in this video, I will explain how Google got so big, what this lawsuit means, and most importantly, how to change your default search engine (even on your mobile browser) so you can try life outside your bubble.
