Let It Bee, Honey
We toured a honey-processing farm in Oregon, while on our way up to Eugene in June 2009. The owner showed us around the hives, the honey and wax processing machines, and we got to taste pure raw honey. As an added bonus at the end of the tour, Erica, also an ornithologist, showed us some baby screech-owls in a nearby nest.
