The two “teenage” sibling Great Horned owls (Bubo virginianus) are now taking their first big flights around the park! Woohoot! The bittersweet journey ends, as we probably won’t see them anymore when they fly off on their own, to find their own neighborhood to hang out in. It has been a joy to capture and share some of these wild owl moments with you. Now it is your turn to learn more about these fascinating, beautiful and important birds, and help protect them.
