A (not so skinny) dipper
On an afternoon hike along the lake to get video of some salmon in a stream, I ran across some of my favorite stream birds... partly for their great “Scrabble” name: “Water Ouzel”, and partly for their bobbing behavior... hence their other name, “American Dipper” (Cinclus mexicanus). Notice the white-flash of their eyes when they blink, as the second eyelid (nictating membrane) winks at you.
