I think it's useless to cling to something that doesn't exist anymore.

instead of making some melo dramatic, sad edit on how times from my childhood aren't the same anymore and everything is worse and desperately wishing I was a kid again, I decided to just grab a song from Kirby and cover it. it feels more like a "i'll see you later man" and not a "goodbye". I feel like imagination and new experiences don't really die, they're just under a new lens, a new pair of glasses that aren't as pink and excited by every little thing.
way too much has happened while I was still a kid, and I still have a lot to learn. i'll still keep growing and learning new things and figure out how to navigate a world that was so closed off for the longest time, and to be honest I'm at the edge of my seat
