this was supposed to be a nintendo playlist with all their beachy silly summertime music but I don't think that's the vibe this year. I wanted to show off what the bgm of my ideal summer sounds like, sitting under a tree in a big empty grassy field, cold one in one hand and 3ds in the other. ahh, ocarina of time
there's some significance to when this was posted (May 31st, 2:30pm) since it's usually the time we'd get out of school for the summer in my region. I remember every year summer arriving, and my 2 lifelong friends and I running out of school like our life was on the line, getting tired and walking the rest of the way to the nearby 711, scraping together all the money we had for tiny slurpees and a sharable size sour patch kids, and sitting on the curb making incredibly extravagant plans and marking down where we could go. eventually we'd always just stay inside and play games together because it was too damn hot lol
