Trip Report - UDYAN Express KSR Bengaluru Lonavala .Onboard the Udyan Express from KSR Bengaluru to Lonavala Via Guntakal, Raichur, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Dhond and Pune covering a distance of over 1100 Km of which nearly 400 Km of journey is through night. We see day light at Mantralayam Road and subsequently travel west Via Raichur crossing Rivers TungaBadra and Krishna and also the largest thermal power station of Karnataka at Raichur. We see some great crossing of trains including the Dadar Chennai Egmore Superfast , the Pune - Secunderabad Shatabdi and the weekly Ahmedabad - Yeshwantpur Express on way to Dhond. At Dhond we change traction from Diesel to Electric and reach Pune and then arrive late evening at Lonavala.

For on the spot, on the Go and unanticipated and unexpected catches I use my new iPhone XR / OnePlus 6.
