This is a prestigious train with eight ( 8 ) AC Double Decker coaches and 3 of them with dining facilities. UDAY Express has a total of 10 coaches; 3 coaches with Dining facility with seating capacity of 104 Seats each and 5 coaches without dining with seating capacity of 120 seats. The remaining two will be power cars.All coaches have an infotainment display board which provides information like next stopping station, speed of the train, time to next stopping station, time to destination etc. This train does not have a pantry Car and food is loaded at Erode station for distribution on coaches C1, C4, C7. On this section today there are 3 stops - Tiruppur, Erode & Salem. It averages 62 km/hr as 22665 Uday Express starts from Bengaluru City Junction covering 419 km in 6 hrs 45 mins & 61 km/hr as 22666 Uday Express starts from Coimbatore Main covering 419 km in 6 hrs 55 min.
