Temporary Madd occurs when a letter of Madd is followed by Sukun u Arez :
مُسْتَقِيمٌ = مُسْتَقِيمْ
رَحِيمٌ = رَحِيمْ
اَلدِّينٌ = اَلدِّينْ
مُسْتَقِيمٌ = مُسْتَقِيمْ
In the examples above, if the words are recited as the way they are written on the right, the vowels are lengthened from one alef to three alef time. However, if they are recited as they are written on the left, the vowels are lengthened only one alef time.
