New Feature Alert! Company Hub
Confluence is a great tool for sharing information, however, finding that information can be very challenging. Up until now groups were stuck calling a Space something like "Employee Central" and hoping folks could find it in the list of everything now.
A recent Beta feature for Confluence Cloud Premium and Enterprise, however, aims to solve that! That Company Hub is visible in the nav bar (right next to "home") and makes it incredibly easy for people to find it. The Hub is essentially a single-page space that is always accessible, making it the perfect place to point workers.
Personally I've found the Hub useful for point people to other pages or spaces (e.g. not putting important information on it directly). It should also solve a lot of headaches that Human Resources (HR) / People teams face when trying to get folks to engage with Confluence.
This release also includes some bonus features in the form of two new macros
Carousel - Lets you visually display links and images in a 3 pack
Cards - Visually display information and link to other spots
Both these macros give groups a LOT more control over the look/feel of the space, replacing the need (at least a little) to use add ons.
If you're on Cloud Premium or Enterprise this is definitely worth checking out!
