Following the acquisition of BlueData by Hewlett Packard Enterprise at the end of 2018, HPE is rolling out a number of offerings that take advantage of some of BlueData's strengths. Most notably, HPE announced GPUs as a Service around HPE Discover 2019, which allows you to virtualize GPUs creating the capability for multiple tenants to take advantage of GPUs in your infrastructure. This allows data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence efforts to all leverage the GPUs without needing custom hardware deployments for each workload. In this interview from HPE Discover, Patrick Osborne explains the GPUs as a service configuration along with some other key advantages of using BlueData.
