RNLI Criccieth's B-Class lifeboat, the Doris Joan is recovered in the dark after an evening of training exercises on the 13th April 2017 at around 20:30.
Established in 1853, Criccieth Lifeboat Station is located on the northern shores of Cardigan Bay. It currently operates a B class Atlantic 85 lifeboat and an Arancia inshore rescue boat. The crews have been presented with nine awards for gallantry.
RNLI Criccieth saved 19 lives during 2016 and has been featured by BBC Cymru Wales.
The B-Class (Atlantic 85) lifeboat is taken to and from sea using a tractor-trailer unit and a slipway.
