The talented Apolonia was born in an underground theater group in Paris and grew up in an artists’ community. In her 20s, she studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, one of the most prestigious art academies in Europe. Over the years, the director kept returning to film the charismatic Apolonia and a special bond developed between the two young women. The result is a fascinating portrait, spanning 13 years, of a young woman trying to find her place in the art world. Apolonia is confident in her talent, but her path is not always easy. Life is not a storybook - one of the lessons she learns is that women painters have to make more sacrifices and overcome greater obstacles than their male counterparts do.

Талентираната Аполонија е родена во една андерграунд театарска група во Париз и израсната во заедница на уметници. Во нејзините 20-ти години студирала на Убавите уметности во Париз (Beaux-Arts de Paris), една од најпрестижните уметнички академии во Европа. Низ годините режисерката ја снима харизматичната Аполонија и меѓу двете млади жени се развива посебна врска. Резултатот е фасцинантен портрет, кој опфаќа 13 години, на млада жена која се обидува да го најде своето место во светот на уметноста. Аполонија е сигурна во својот талент, но патот не ѝ е секогаш лесен. Една од лекциите што ги учи е дека сликарките треба повеќе да се жртвуваат и да надминуваат поголеми пречки за разлика од нивните машки колеги.
