DALGONA MATCHA | FROTHY MATCHA GREEN TEA
Inspired by the trendy coffee drink that´s been popularized on Tiktok -- DALGONA COFFEE
Here´s my version of DALGONA MATCHA / FROTHY MATCHA GREEN TEA
INGREDIENTS
1 egg white
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 hot water
1 tsp matcha powder (sieved)
ice cubes
200 ml milk of your choice (I used fresh semi-skimmed milk)
METHOD
Whip one egg white until it becomes fluffy, set aside
Cook sugar with water in low heat for about 4-5 minutes, don´t stir!
Gradually add the sugar mixture into the whipped egg white, and continue whipping to mix evenly.
Add the sieved matcha powder then fold gently using spatula.
Pour milk into a glass with ice cubes (if cold dalgona is preferred)
Add the matcha mixture on top.
Serve.
