🔵 "Ti Sento" is a piece of music by Matia Bazar, released as a single by Ariston in 1985, taken from the album Melanchólia. The music was composed by Carlo Marrale (chorus) and Sergio Cossu (verse and bridge), while the text is by Aldo Stellita.
The wonderful voice is by Antonella Ruggiero. Artist with a heterogeneous repertoire in terms of culture and origin, Antonella stands out for her high vocal range, which allows her to move from the pop register to the lyrical register of light soprano, passing through sacred music, jazz, soul, blues, popular music, tango , choral and band music, classical and contemporary music.
She was one of the founding members in 1975 of the Matia Bazar group, to which she gave her name and with which she achieved fame in Italy and around the world
This song was a great international success, with versions in Spanish and English, respectively entitled Te siento and I Feel You: in the second half of 1986 it reached first place in the Belgian charts, second in the Dutch ones and eleventh in Germany .
Chris Lowe, keyboardist of the English duo Pet Shop Boys, has included the song in the collection of the Back to Mine series, in which the duo presents their favorite songs. The collection, which is entitled Back to Mine: Pet Shop Boys (2005), also contains a second CD with selected songs by the duo's singer Neil Tennant.
