🔵 "Ok Run" is a 1983 song by M-Basic, pseudonym of Sandy Marton, alias Aleksandar Marton.
Discovered by Claudio Cecchetto, Sandy Marton made his debut with this first single, achieving moderate success.
In 1984 Cecchetto officially launched him on the record market with the dance single "People from Ibiza", composed by Marton himself, inspired by an arrangement by Ryūichi Sakamoto for the soundtrack of the film directed by Nagisa Ōshima, Furyo (Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, 1983). The song was a hit in discos and climbed the Italian charts until it reached first position, becoming one of the hits of the summer of 1984 and certainly his most famous hit.
In the following year he confirmed his popularity in the charts and in clubs by releasing two more successful singles of the same genre: "Camel by Camel" and "Exotic & Erotic".
In 1985 his first album, Modern Lover, was released, driven by the single of the same name, which reached seventh place in the Italian charts. Given the singer's success, Cecchetto founded the production company Marton Corporation and the record label Ibiza Records.

Nel 1984 Cecchetto lo lancia ufficialmente sul mercato discografico con il singolo dance "People from Ibiza", composto dallo stesso Marton, ispirandosi a un arrangiamento di Ryūichi Sakamoto per la colonna sonora del film diretto da Nagisa Ōshima, Furyo (Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, 1983). Il brano spopola in discoteca e scala le classifiche italiane fino a raggiungere la prima posizione, diventando uno dei tormentoni dell'estate 1984 e sicuramente la sua hit più celebre.
