All-Flash Software Defined Storage
One path to future proofing your enterprise or cloud storage infrastructure is open-source all-flash Ceph. Cost per unit of throughput has dramatically come down recently - all-flash configurations are now cheaper than HDDs for similar thorughput. There is such a wide spectrum of SSDs (from high performance NVMe to read-centric QLC) that the question is no longer should I deploy SSDs but which SSDs can I most effectively deploy.
