Expanding hives & making a NUC
14 Min video here. Went into hive 1 to add super (medium box) and found several queen cups and other items needing attention. Added a queen excluder and this gives hive 1 more room to grow. Going through 4 next hives found 7 queen cells in hive five and made a split making a NUC. Gave the NUC 3 frames of bees with queen cells. Great shots of the bees and frames in this video, Removed all feeders and placed frames back in their place for bees to grow.
