Warden's Farm Hive 1 update
Here is a video taken at Warden's Farm Apiary in eastern North Carolina. This is what we do here as our weather is still warm. This is hive #1 inspection looking for any problems. Did not find any Southern Hive Beetles or Deformed Wing Virus. I did add 1-1 sugar water as the hive is light on food stores.
I show a frame of capped brood, larva, and eggs in the cells. I then add a treatment of Apiguard to help fight off mites prior to cooler weather coming in.
